GEOMICROBill McDowell is a biogeochemist and ecosystem ecologist interested in understanding controls on biogeochemical cycles in streams, forests, and watersheds. McDowell has been the lead-PI at the Luquillo Critical Zone Observatory and is currently a co-PI on the Geomicrobiology and Biogeochemistry CZCN Cluster.
