Enabling, Supporting, and Communicating Critical Zone Science

The Hub supports the network by:

  • Managing the standardization, archiving, and accessibility of the data generated by the Clusters,
  • convening regular meetings of the Clusters,
  • Planning for future research infrastructure needs of the network
  • Supporting national outreach activities and organize workshops that Engage the larger CZ community.

The Hub has four primary objectives:

  1. Provide a robust cyberinfrastructure for Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR) data from the CZ network Thematic Clusters, by integrating existing data services operated by CUAHSI and EarthChem.

  2. Advance CZ Science with Cross-Site Synthesis Activities.

  3. Grow the CZ Community through Education and Outreach.

  4. Unite the CZ Collaborative Hub and CZ Thematic Clusters through coordination, sharing, and community meetings.
