BIG DATAMy professional training includes electrical engineering and science education at the elementary level. Currently I am an Associate Professor of Elementary Science Education with a research focus on the nature of science views of very young children. Social justice, equity, and inclusion have been central to all of the work that I engage in. Critical Zone (CZ) science is also an area that I have long pursued with a desire of involving all of the U. S.’s human capital. I am part of the Big Data Cluster in one of leads for the Education team. In this role I am fortunate to also have as collaborators, faculty members from Jackson State University, a Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCU).
