I am co-PI of the Bedrock cluster and a professor of environmental health and engineering at Johns Hopkins University, where I use mathematical models to understand complex earth systems and how they change over time.

My previous research has explored topics including: the environmental impacts of hydraulic fracturing and the biogeochemical effects of climate warming in alpine systems. I received my PhD from MIT, and have recently been elected as a fellow of the American Geophysical Union.
