Frontiers in Ecohydrology

Ecohydrology is a dynamic and interdisciplinary field focusing on the interactions and feedback between water and ecosystems across different spatial and temporal scales. This complex discipline requires innovative methods to continuously advance our understanding of these critical interactions. Sponsored by the Ecohydrology Technical Committee, the Frontiers in Ecohydrology AGU24 session aims to highlight cutting-edge research and emerging trends in ecohydrology.

We invite researchers to submit abstracts that explore new ideas and hot topics at the intersection of hydrological and ecological sciences. Contributions employing diverse methodologies, including field methods, modeling, laboratory or mesocosm experiments, remote sensing, data mining, model-data fusion, or theoretical development, are highly encouraged. We are particularly interested in work that couples ecological and hydrological systems, revealing intricate dynamics across various scales.

This session provides a platform for showcasing pioneering research that enhances our comprehension of ecohydrological processes and fosters collaboration among scientists dedicated to understanding the vital connections between water and ecosystems. Join us in advancing ecohydrology research at AGU24.

July 31, 2024 is the deadline to propose and abstract for inclusion in this session.
