Here in Geography at the University of Exeter we are committed to pursuing world-class research which impacts positively on the world and to delivering outstanding research-inspired teaching through our wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes.
Geography is at the centre of issues of relevance today and in the future. It offers explanations for, and promotes understanding of, the relationships between events and their impact both globally and locally. It is about appreciating the complexity of these events and relationships, drawing on historical experiences, and preparing for and shaping the future. It is within this context that we aim to pursue research and deliver programmes of the highest quality which tackle and examine critical global issues of the 21st century.
