Traditional geochemical and novel geophysical weathering indices correspond closely in a 70 meter granite weathering profile at the Calhoun CZO.  This correspondence improves our understanding of the processes associated with Critical Zone formation, and has influences our ability to understand/quantify these processes at a landscape scale.
