I am starting a PhD at Duke University with the Watershed Hydrology and Biogeosciences Laboratory led by Dr. Brian McGlynn this Fall (2014) and have been fortunate to be awarded the NSF Wireless Intelligent Sensor Networks (WISeNet) IGERT Fellowship for the first two years of my PhD! I'll be working in the brand-new Calhoun Critical Zone Observatory (CZO) in upstate South Carolina with a focus on coupled hydrologic and biogeochemical processes in the deep soils and heavily impacted terrain of the Southern Piedmont.
